The road to Naeroy fjord was extremely diverse, from the garden like Sogne fjord to steep and spectacular mountain passes like Gaularfjellet and Vikfjellet, we hardly passed any people on our way, which gave us the feeling of being kings of the road – fantastic.
l camino hacia el fiordo de Naeroy era extremadamente diverso, desde el jardín como el fiordo de Sogne hasta los pasos de montaña escarpados y espectaculares como Gaularfjellet y Vikfjellet, casi no pasamos gente en nuestro camino, lo que nos dio la sensación de ser los reyes de la carretera, fantástico.
We took a stop every now and then to take some pictures, to cook or to go for a quick swim in on of the many, unbelievably clear lakes. Although the weather was quite bad, with lots of rain showers and only some rays of sunshine, we enjoyed every minute of this stage of our trip.
EHicimos una parada de vez en cuando para tomar algunas fotos, cocinar o dar un baño rápido en uno de los muchos lagos increíblemente claros. Aunque el tiempo estuvo bastante mal, con muchos chubascos y solo algunos rayos de sol, disfrutamos cada minuto de esta etapa de nuestro viaje.
When we finally arrived at Naeroy fjord, tem- peratures had fallen even more and it was quite cold in one of the narrowest fjords in the world.
Cuando finalmente llegamos al fiordo de Naeroy, las temperaturas habían bajado aún más y hacía bastante frío en uno de los fiordos más estrechos del mundo.
The landscape was breath-taking, but apart from that and our usual yet unsuccessful tries to catch a fish, there was nothing that made us want to stay. So we decided to drive on the next morning hoping to find a spot that would revita- lize our spirits.
El paisaje era impresionante, pero aparte de eso y de nuestros intentos habituales pero infructuosos de pescar, no había nada que nos hiciera querer quedarnos. Así que decidimos conducir a la mañana siguiente con la esperanza de encontrar un lugar que revitalizara nuestro espíritu.
Funny side note: during the night, two ponies (one a bit emo, the other one plain disgusting), a horse and some sort of cow paid a visit at our camp and tried to rob us from our garbage. Thanks to Lukas, who banished the monsters in his underpants, we could leave the fjord shocked but alive!.
Nota divertida: Durante la noche, dos ponis (uno un poco emo, el otro simplemente repugnante), un caballo y una especie de vaca visitaron nuestro campamento e intentaron robarnos la basura. Gracias a Lukas, quien desterró a los monstruos en calzoncillos, ¡Pudimos dejar el fiordo conmocionados pero vivos!.
