The drive to Lista was, again, very diverse and the landscape changed from lush, green fields to small and impressive looking mountain ridges with incredible roads. The reason why we drove to Lista was that a friend of Lukas told him about a secret surf spot close to a beacon on the south-west shore of the peninsula. But when we arrived there, the sea was flat as a pancake – what a bummer.
El viaje a Lista fue, nuevamente, muy diverso y el paisaje cambió de exuberantes y verdes campos a pequeñas e impresionantes crestas montañosas con caminos increíbles. La razón por la que fuimos en coche a Lista fue que un amigo de Lukas le contó sobre un lugar secreto para surfear cerca de una baliza en la costa suroeste de la península. Pero cuando llegamos allí, el mar estaba plano como un panqueque… qué fastidio.
Nevertheless, we managed to find a decent place to stay and the location in front of the sea with snugly-looking houses and the beacon compensated for the non-existing waves. In addition, we prepared the most delicious Spaghetti Carbonara we had ever tasted over an open flame – just the thought of it...
Sin embargo, logramos encontrar un lugar decente para quedarnos y la ubicación frente al mar con casas de aspecto acogedor y la baliza compensaron las olas inexistentes. Además, preparamos los espaguetis a la carbonara más deliciosos que jamás habíamos probado sobre una llama abierta - con solo pensarlo ...
Still, we all felt that our journey would soon come to an end as it was raining almost constantly, and all our belongings and equipment became moist or even wet.
Aún así, todos sentimos que nuestro viaje pronto llegaría a su fin ya que llovía casi constantemente y todas nuestras pertenencias y equipo se humedecieron o incluso se mojaron.
Therefore, on the following day, we drove to Kristiansand, where we spent most of the day in the van because of heavy rain showers. Our patience was sorely tried and after another day of constant rain, we decided to hop on the ferry and head back home to Austria. This put an admittedly bad ending to an otherwise amazing trip.
Por lo tanto, al día siguiente nos dirigimos a Kristiansand, donde pasamos la mayor parte del día en la furgoneta debido a las fuertes lluvias. Nuestra paciencia se puso a prueba y después de otro día de lluvia constante, decidimos subirnos al ferry y regresar a Austria. Esto puso un final ciertamente malo a un viaje por lo demás asombroso.

As you can tell from our final picture, we both extremely enjoyed Norway, its stunning landscape, its people, its culture and its laid-back way of living. Although the weather in the end upset our plans, we were able to see and experience the countries beauty in our own way, and we are very thankful for this amazing little adventure. To be on the road with friends is one of the best things you can do.
Como puede ver en nuestra imagen final, ambos disfrutamos mucho de Noruega, su impresionante paisaje, su gente, su cultura y su relajada forma de vida. Aunque el clima al final trastornó nuestros planes, pudimos ver y experimentar la belleza del país a nuestra manera, y estamos muy agradecidos por esta pequeña y asombrosa aventura. Estar de viaje con amigos es una de las mejores cosas que uno puede hacer.
